This game saw the 0-2 Vampire team vs. the 0-3-1 Elf team. Both team had been brutalized the game before and each was looking forwards to a relatively less bloody game.

The game started with the Elfs in possession of the ball. Moving receivers up each wing they were able to score a lucky TD after a lucky roll. The Vampires responded with a play up the sideline that culminated in Strahd Nyghtblade moving in for the equalizer. Grey Haven pressure on the defence prevented any stalling, and thanks to a couple of casualties on the opening play, sending Lord Oblivion off to his coffin for a few weeks, the elfs were again able to swarm downfield and get the ball to a open receiver for the 2-1 half-time lead.

The Second half saw a steady decline in the numbers of players from each side able to play on the pitch. Blood runs Red penetrated the Ghostrider defence and was poised to score when star Vampire the Horrible King tripped one sqaure from the tying mark. The Elfs quickly swooped on the ball and in miraculous manner swept in downfield. A struggle for the ball ensued, with each side gaining possession only to be knocked down. The presence of only one Vampire meant the Elfs out-skilled the Thralls, and with some dodge rolls were able to outnumber the Blood and score the 3-1 insurance TD. With only a few turns left the disheartened Vampires refused to even pick up the ball, leaving their coach speechless.

Would've been a tense tense game if The Horrible King hadn't missed the TD by one pip and I would've had 3 turns to score the go-ahead. Fun game! Well-coached. Well-played.

#12 Pale Moon Paul – Dead (RIP)
Good coaching from the Onion King = deserved win.

Yes, I had some crap luck at key times, but I am starting to realize EVERY die roll in Blood Bowl is pretty critical and considering 1 out of 6 is really like around 16% chance of failure, people are going to fail a lot.

Mine are just on the ones that would tie the game. I'm not bitter or anything. Honest.

Still, I got a TD so the fans went nuts and my ff went up. I am not going to question that one...

I should just play orcs. :)
