“Yep , my armour held , but at times it was difficult to tell who was elves and who was orcs , with his players dodging around all over the place and my guys beating up on his guys at times . My normal tactic of get in quick and get out failed miserably . Serval times i had 2 dice blocks on his ball handler which failed quite badly , only a one dicer got the ball loose eventually , but then the ball bounced badly and i couldnt get near it . And his blitzer dodged into a tacklezone picked it up and dodged away again.

The two dice block against the black orc was one of the rare good blocks i did in the game , and it was an unskilled BoB who had managed to roll a 6 to get the ball a few turns before .

Unfortunatly my pretty unstopable attack in the second half (which he could only likely of been stopped by a blitz/perfect defence or a double skull on my opening block was stopped by a blitz.)

All in all it was a big mixed bag of luck , with my dodging failing so often that it left a lot of my team in postions to be hit hard and often ,fortunatly in the first half though it was more like soft and often . Second Half saw 6 KOs and a few injuriesto boot ..

The last two turns Alien failed to pick up the ball though which was the final swing of luck in my favour (after my blitzer had failed to dodge through 3 squares (3,3,2 required with a reroll and a dodge to use and had promply BH himself ). Truly a very odd game .

Most often with elves if your players stay on the pitch for long enough they will win the game against a bash team , this time we had no trouble with the bashing side but the ball handling was pretty lame . And we ended up boxed in during the second half . I made a huge mistake at the begining of the second half as well and failed to secure the ball which was costly . ”
