“Interesting match.

1st half:

Coach used a reroll to be sure Nobbla fired up the chainsaw on turn 1 for the Orcs and Nobbla quickly went to work. His blades made quick work of a throwra and a blitzra - neither of which regenerated. The Khermi tried to roll around a big scrum that was tying up all the black orcs and mummies, but a skellie saw a tz too late to screen the throwra (which allowed Nobbla a shot at him) and the ball was knocked loose.

Blitzer finally picked up the pigskin and rolled to the opposite side of the field. Along the way a mummy knocked himself down and out on a block (again, no reg). Eventually the blitzer handed off to a waiting lineman who spent the last two turns hustling for the endzone. 1-0.

2nd half:

Orcs receive and try to work to their right but quickly bog down and are forced to retreat. A blitzer dodges into the open field on the khemri side of the pitch and waits for the thrower. Then the thrower avoids a lone skellie to open a line of sight to the endzone but instead of 'punting' the ball where only the blitzer might be able to get it later - I attempt a pass to the blitzer. A huge mistake even had he caught it because he was easily marked and blitzed down that allowed the Khemri an opportunity to tie. Blitzra picks up the ball, loses it, picks it up again, and makes his way onto the orc side of the pitch. A failed gfi spells doom as no rerolls and only some spaced apart skellies to work with let the orcs undeservedly avoid the tie.

Postgame:

100k winnings was an unexpected surprise from this match! I never really got in a position to use my DP as I feared the Khemri's greater numbers and the Khemri decided not to throw the 1st boot - so no fouls this game!?!

Many thanks to my opponent who challenged me despite Nobbla already being on my roster! Well played, rematch anytime!
