Slumbering Skink won the toss and elected to take first possession. First block of the game Ltrrsl shows his intentions as he forces a skaven lineman to miss the rest of the game badly hurt. Aouoedllphss then took the hand off and darted through the gap created while the other saurus started knocking around skaven and Lev-ler-nae raced up in support. Aouoedllphss was unfortunately knocked down when a lineman took a pow/skull block, but the skink got the better of the deal, only being stunned while his tackler was removed from the field knocked out. Lev-ler-nae ducked through to recover possession and dart over the ball on a go for it.

From the restart, skaven thrower Argy Flingscum was unable to gather the ball and the Lizards immediately went back on the offensive. Ltrrsl injured another skaven, this time a gutter runner before moving through to put pressure on Argy. Krss feeling left behind tried to keep up with the powerful number 7, but was only able to manage a KO on a storm vermin. On the quarter mark Ltrrsl capped his match, killing the thrower after the rat foolishly tried to pick up the ball from in front of him. As his manager said, "Ltrrsl isn't much for sharing, it took several months before he'd allow even one of his skink teammates to grab the ball from near him". Lev-ler-nae let the move down though, fumbling out of bounds. Little more of note happened in the first half, Lev-ler-nae managed to reclaim the ball after a brief scuffle but was knocked down and neither team had time to mount a serious scoring attempt.

To start the second half, the Horde had their best scoring chance of the game, a fast early drive past the saurus defensive line, but when their second gutter runner attempted to blitz and doge his way from a skink cage he was also carried off the field badly hurt. With the skaven down to 6 rats they were never going to stop the lizardmen who powered home with Oiayouozkhss scoring twice and receiving the mvp award for his efforts. The only stumble was a KO to scorer Lev-ler-nae who didn't make it back onto the field.

#4 Argy Flingscum – Dead (RIP)
It was a day like no other. The Horde had appeared from whatever verminous sewer they like to inhabit in between games. Spirits were high, especially as a dwarf had managed to stumble (whilst obscenely drunk) into the Horde's lair. Suffice it to say spirits become quite high after a feast...

Of course nothing could compare the young Skaven team for what was to come.

The whistle blows, the ball is kicked and 30 seconds later, the Bubonic Horde has had the ever-hungry Argy Flingscum lying face down (or what was left of it) in the dirt with a rather large Krox licking the blood off its claws after a particularly fatal block.

And the next few minutes showed little promise of thing improving. Three of the Horde players were dragged off the field with varying wounds although none that should affect them for their next game.

Down to a mere 7 ratlings, the Horde tried valiantly to salvage a minutae of dignity by making a sudden dash for the line after having picked up a lucky loose ball from the Skink's missed throw.

Things looked positive! Could the vermin actually cross the line? Could they possibly stop themselves from looking like the most incompetant bunch of Chaos-twisted buffoons in Blood Bowl History?
Only Lurg Shuffleguts, the most promising of the Horde's Gutter Runners could give the adoring fans the answer to that question!

Lurg receives the ball from a short pass by Groggy Halfwhisker (as he thinks about how he's going to stop the rest of the team from gnawing on poor Argy's corpse after the game) and dodges left, then right and comes face to face with the Skink's last defensive player before the line. One Skink. One tiny, slimy little tadpole of a creature, an insignificant speck on the world that the great Horned Rat should rightfully inherit and what happens? Lurg falls flat on his face, knocks himself out and promtly delivers the bal nicely into the hands of the Slumbering Skinks.

What more can be said?

...the Bubonic Horde will be in desperate need of a virgin Wood Elf to Sacrifice to the Horned Rat in order to steel themselves against their opponants in their coming game. Rumour has it that Dwarves can be rather nasty. Especially when in all liklihood your team has recently devoured one of their dwarven cousins...
