The cult could start attacking in the first half, and made a powerfull drive. Fouled one blitzer out in turn 1 and in turn 2 a longbeard died and the apo failed. Reduced to 9that quickly, the dwarves could do little in defence, and were further reduced in numbers untill 7 were left at the end.
But, in turn 7 some longbeards got close to the stalling wight. I wanted to put a zombie on the closest longbeard, made a go for it and rolled a snake eyes. This turned out to be a crucial moment. The longbeards managed to get down the wight and I had no scoring chances in turn 8 (ghoul got mng as well). Nuffle abandons the cult for once.
Second half the dwarves start. I get a blitz and manage to take out the deathroller with my ST6 mummy. But after that, the dwarves started hitting hard, some ko's and stuns and cas, and the undead had a hard time to stay in the game. The runners went forward, and with the help of a highly unlikely succesfull dump off action and some very essential pows at the right times one of the runners could score.
But then some very crucial ko rolls: 3 ko'd undead came back, while two of the ko'd dwarves stayed out, leaving the undead with 11 players against 10 and 4 turns to score and they managed to do so in turn 7.
Good game, close fight. The cult prove once more that they are a very hard team to win from.”
