The second game in a row vs Madtias where it was very close almost the whole game, and the second he lost while he deserved a tie at least.

After a rock (ripper out) and a foul in the first two turns, I was up 11 vs 9. Normaly I am able to stall out the half without any problems in such a situation, not this time though. Madtias defended superbly, and I was unable to hold my grip on the game, especialy after my ST6 mummy went out. Scoring was seeming to be very though, doesn't normay happen in my drive. The Cult finaly found a tiny hole in the defence in turn 7 making use of the greater speed of the undead and managed a score in turn 8. Big relief for the coach.
However, with Ripper and an AG4 goblin (and a PI opeing a hole in the backline), the orx managed to equalize without breaking a sweat, so things don't look well at the start of the second half.

But during the orxes drive, a double skull on the first block made it a tricky turn, because the goblin ballcarrier was in the open and in reach of both the count and a tackler, and most of the other players were tied up. Another double skull after a few more blocks sealed it there, count away with the ball, and 2-1 for the undead.
With solid defending, the Cult forced the orx to perform another TTM, because nobody could get deep easily. Here nuffle went with the Cult again, and stole away the rightfull equalizer for the Furdd Tribe. Highly unlucky to land next to the tackler, and roll a 1 on the dodge in addition.

Great game again, great play by Madtias
Cheers!

Da Tribe's third loss comes in this superb game against the famous Cult of the Brainless. The Undead played a good offense to score in the last turn of their drive, we thought we had them covered but they found a way. Ripper and Minim did their TTM thing and equalised before half-time. Da Tribe's offense in the second half then ended with 4 skulls at the wrong time and the Cult took the lead. Another TTM play was going to end the match with a draw, but Minim landed next to the Cult tackler in the backfield and tripped on the dodge. Sooo close.

Smess played a great game as always, his first TD in particular was tough to get, but he did it. The match had it all - good plays, bashing, fouling, dodging, TTM etc. GG Smess, see you around.
