My skavens performed pretty much as usual. All that was needed to tie the game was a dodge roll at 2+, with a reroll, but of course the 1, 1 decided to end the game a loss.

The team did pick up a thing or two though, and went through the game humiliated but otherwise unscatched.

MagmaBeast played brilliantly, and stoically endured the pain his team suffered, without gloating a bit when bad luck fell upon my ballhandling.

With a nights sleep to clear my head its obvious that it wasn't the occational bad luck that lost me the game but the fact that I'm such a sickeningly nice guy. An early foul would have had high probability to make the outnumbering advantage stronger, possibly increasing the numbers of his players that I could've sent off the pitch from upright position. And trading in a few evicted benchwarmers for one or two more dark elves out of the game completely would've left MagmaBeast with just too few players on the pitch to have a chance.

Maybe, just maybe I might wise up and put the boot where it hurts next time.”
