“Well, the norse knew this was going to be a tough one, but how tough was another question.

Things started off poorly. The undead got the ball and the ref! It was a foul-a-thon. Bersi got killed by a foul and later badly hurt by a second one. Mercifully, most of the fouls ended with Ko's. Somehow the team escaped unscathed, which was their only real goal. The dead got the ball and sat on it by the endzone while they pummelled the furry humans. At half time, there were only four of them on the field.

Fielding only six players in the second half, the norse held back for as long as they could and then punched a hole through the shambling horde. It was a noble effort, but the dead were too many and the norse once again lost the ball. The fouling continued and the norse fought to stay alive. The game would end with the dead up2-0 and only three norse left on the field.

Still, all things considered, the boys did OK. Though they lost, they are riding high. A full roster waits for their next opponent. Rumor has it they are saving up for a big guy to join the squad, though some rerolls could certainly help...
