“An extremely frustrating match for IBHoD!
Coming into the match, the norse were fielding 13 men to Channel 4's 10. It was pouring down snow and the crowd was big. What more could the Icy Hand want?
Immediately they were put on ice, with the loss of their guard, "Frosty" Throst for some illict accuation. And Ivan was knocked out on the first turn, so it was soon a 10-10 game! The norse kicked off, but knocked down most of the newscasters and got the ball. Only to have the pass intercepted by the human's thrower of all players (and he was in tackle zones!)! It was a quick pass to a blitzer and off they went, holding off the norse to score in the closing seconds of the first half. Forge was killed, but brought back to life, in his attempt to liberate the ball.
The norse got the ball, and Arinbjorn missed an easy pass to Sleet. Pres picked up the ball and got it to Vice who went in for the TD, but got knocked over by a lone blitzer. Sigfast went down with a shot to the groin. The norse surrounded the ball and tried to pick it up, finally bobbling it back to VIce who would quickly take it in for the tie, hoping for a quick recovery and a winning point.
The norse couldn't stop the humans. They made a desperate scramble for the ball, and Tiktok scrambled to plug the hole so the blitzer couldn't make it in, but he slipped on the ice, even with a reroll and fell. The blitzer dodged and took it in for the win.
The blame for this lies soley in Coach Ryce's hands. His blitzer had a chance to push out an opposing blitzer early in the game, but reading of channel 4's hard-luck, he ordered his blitzer not to do it. This angered nuffle and the norse would go on to throw 67 unsuccessful blocks. Not one casuality! Since the norse are turning out to be such lightweights, Ryce has captured a minotaur to show these boys how to hit! We'll win a game yet! NO MORE MERCY!

Veronica Corningstone killed a dirty norse blitzer that got a little too fresh. Luckily they managed to reattach his head before it became permanent.
