“Nocturama takes a loss against a stronger Dark Elf team. It was a tough matchup, playing 21 STR up, but Nocturama was undaunted. We pressured the Ravens' cage in the first half, got the ball loose for a while but without being able to recover it. In turn 7 however, the Ravens made a mistake and fell down, allowing Nocturama to take down their ball carrier and pick up the ball. We had no way to cover it properly however, and the Ravens could take it back and score 0-1. It was a close one though (with hindsight, I shouldn't have made the block with the strip ball Witch first in turn 7, instead letting her pick up and throw the ball away after the blitz from the ST4).

In the second half, Nocturama kept the cage intact and moved on upfield. The Ravens made casualties however, eventually leaving us with only 6 players and needing a 3+ 2+ dodge to score. We fell down of course, and the Ravens scored 0-2. Nocturama then scored an unopposed 2-turn TD for 1-2, as the Ravens just kept out of harms way. Finally a T16 block resulted in a niggle on Crow Jane. Bah.
