The Dangerville Dames met up with the very hard hitting Tycoon City Leftovers lead by the able Emphasy in the debut of the Royal Rookie Rumble...and it ended painfully.
The Dames were swarmed by the undead after the kickoff and lost the ball early to the opponent's ghoul, but a fortunate blitz recovered the ball and the Dames could run in a 1-0 lead with only a few turns to spare in the first half. Things looked good, but were about to turn for the worse...
In the 2nd half the Leftovers recieved, and the Dames made a death defying charge to recover the ball from the undead flesh cage. This lead to many tough injuries, and still they failed to halt the opponents from tieing the match...leaving the Dames with a crippled team for the OT.
The Leftovers won the coin toss and got to recieve again. Outnumbered and bruised, the amazons needed luck to recover the ball, but fate failed them and slowly the undead wore them down.
The Tycoon City Leftovers won the match and are through to the second round...and the crippled Dangerville Dames didn't survive their debut match. Only Desiree Saint will continue playing Blood Bowl after being resurrected by the opponent.
