"Hey guys, I think he's going to play a game," said Slaanesh.

"I don't care! It is time for Khorne to sleep!" declared Khorne.

"Yeah, sleepy time now!" agreed Tzeentch.

Thus the Gods of Chaos slept on their watch as the Pros took to the field.

"Go, go, go, go, go, go!!!" yelled Coach Oblitzamanger as Nurgle worshipper Linger Grrealment ran up the sideline and in for a touchdown.

"Yes! I think we have it today boys!" he declared. However, the players knew something was wrong.

Suddeenly, the weather changed and it went from being sunny to being clear. The team knew this was an omen that th Gods were not there, but kept on playing in spite of that knowledge.

That was when Ogre and Slaanesh follower Dur'lunk Evileye fell to a Mummy with a groin sprain. The apothecar was not used in fear of a greater injury. "Get up you old oaf! I'm tired of you getting injured! One more game like this and you're through!" threatened the coach.

But then another Slaanesh follower, Vanith Dartlett got a smashed knee, which this time was recovered by the medics. The team was weary and getting beat. Many were knocked out, and the rest were scattered across the pitch. Even as the mighty Slaanesh Beastman Amsturgth Gutmusher broke the ribs of a Skeleton, Coach Oblitzamanger watched in horror as the pile of bones in the other dugout regained it's form and with disgusting sucking noises became a full Skeleton again.

Sure enough, it was 1 - 1 by halftime, and the remaining team members could not do muc h to prevent the second touchdown, suffering yet another casualty to Tzeentch Beastman Mashelk Strongrip, who got a gouged eye from a Skeleton. And, ironically, as Slaanesh captain Hormesh Tearmouth too gouged an eye of a Skeleton, it regenerated again.

Coach Oblitzamanger threw his playbook up in frustration and was confused about the game. Afterwards, Khorne follower Orgot Crushpain found the luck to make a pass, but during the game, even though the team would finish with re-rolls in hand, they just could nto stop the grinding force of the Khemrian offense. Confused and saddened, Coach Oblitzamanger walked back to the locker room defeated.

"Did we make it in time?" asked Tzeentch rushedly.

"Damn! We're too late! They already lost!" cried Nurgle.

"Was there at least blood?" asked Khorne.

"No, it appears that our Warriors didn't pick up anything too serious, and all the Skeletons regenerated. Too bad," said Slaanesh.

"I'm going to make sure this does not happen again," declared Tzeentch, and the others went back to their cozy beds of skulls, fire, bones, and diseases.

Waiting for Oblitzamanger in the locker room was a large Warrior. Oblitzamanger was initially scared, but realized that the Gods had been there after all.

"And tell me who you are," he said.

The black Warrior gave him an icy stare and then reported, "I am Lord Arcx, Champion of Tzeentch, and I am to be made captain of that sect of this team immediately."

"Why didn't Tzeentch help us in this game?" challenged Oblitzamanger, but the Warrior gave him a menacing stare that broke Oblitzamanger's confidence.

"They 'missed' the game today. But I am here so that will not happen again. As long as I take to the pitch, Tzeentch shall be notified of my presence there, and do his will through me."

Oblitzamanger gave a long thought to this, and then sighed. "You're hired," he said at last.

"I didn't need your permission..." replied the Warrior.

This was one hard mashing slug fest of a game sport fans!

Oblitzamanger played some great defense and almost stopped BOTH of the Nehekhara Blitz's touch downs. The mummies did what they are supposed to do and smashed their way up the field... sending beast men flying in all directions!

We also have one for the highlight reels! Zmashems block of the ogre Dur'lunk Evileye! That's going to hurt in the morning I tell you that!

In the end Marvin "Sandstorm" Otep stepped up and took command of the game. Scoring both of the teams touch downs! Is it a new star in the making?

After the game Foulscumm had this to say to the gathered press: "Am I happy? Happy?! It's an outrage! They couldn't kill anyone at all! They'll have to work extra hard over the next few days to make up for it!"
One of the reporters interrupted the rant by pointing out that the Blitz won the game.
"Won?! Who cares! This is a Khemri team!"

Who can argue with that logic?
