That being said, the NEW DWG can be proud to know that they do their predecessors great honor. Having mastered some aspects of the game that before were less honed, and having avoided some of the wicked Pain State! beatdowns until now, has greatly improved their longterm survivability.
As always, Pain State! players will be available to deliver the "kick to the crotch" fundraiser to any fans with the cash to participate. With great philanthropies like this, we know the ranks of Pain State! fans will soon swell to their former painful levels! ”

DWG got the ball and Cougar lobbed one to Jonez. Pain State showed they had a few surprises when an orc lineman LEAPED over the line to take Jonez out! McDamage tried to pick up the loose ball but failed. Jawshatter weaved in an out of orcs to grab the ball and pump into the endzone putting the Gypsies up 1-0!
Though the orcs managed to break Wesley Stable's jaw, they weren't able to tie the game up before the half.
Angry orc fans would storm the field at the beginning of the second half, pinning 1/3 of the squad. Plus, with Stable gone, the boys from Dark Water had a kick go out of bounds, so the Pain was able to touchback the ball. Things got worse as Brimstone was taken out of the game with an injury and Jonez was soon to follow! Leadfist was unluckily pushed into the angry crowd and spent the rest of the game fighting his way back to a friendly sideline. Nick Nightsong would step up and throw all of his weight into a Stormbringa, a giant Black Orc and push him into the crowd too.
Though the Gypsies tried to slow down the orcs, Talon and McDamage were also knocked out, and the orcs finally rolled into the endzone. And though neither was able to throw a single punch, Barracks and Moat tied up the opponents for most of the game. They got knocked down, but kept getting up. They've earned our respect.
The Gypsies tried to take a chance on a quick lead before the end of the game, but the orcs were ready with a perfect defense. Before he knew it, Dick Valentine was brought down with a stunning hit. Rookie!
So the Gypsies managed to hold onto the tie and earn enough for some more good luck runes. Cougar has finally learned how to throw a punch, so expect to see him even taking more chances than before! So much for Coach Ryce's ulcer getting any better!
