“The tension ran high in this match between the Sluggers and their arc nemesis; the foul orcs - this time in the guise of the Filthybums team!

Beginning on the defense, the sluggers managed to wrestle the ball from the bums filthy claws and Immelmann lobbed a longbomb to Schitzer, who stood prepared to score on the other side of the pitch. The first TD went to the sigmarites! The orcs were held off until halftime.

It was time for the sluggers to make their offensive and they chose a flooding taktic, sending two catchers dodging through the defending orcs. Because of an over-eager blitzer, who left a gap in the cage around Immelmann (holding the ball), the orcs managed to counter, claim the ball and score.

Again, the sluggers put up a similar offensive, this time taking more care to protect the thrower from any intervening greenskins. Immelmann stood waiting for an opertunity to send the ball to a free player, but it never happened as the orcs putting up a furious effort to crowd every catcher or blitzer who got too close to the endzone.

Meanwhile Sluggo and Günter were tangling with the troll, a black orc and a big lineorc at the LoS, managing to send the troll among others to the dugout.

With support from Sluggo and one of the blitzers, Herpin, who was pinned by the sideline blitzed passed a black orc and a feisty goblin and made a go for the endzone, only to trip at the last step.

The whistle blew, and the score was tied!

Brother Worster was finaly put off the pay roll as he recieved further injuries during this game. The number 10 sweater goes to the teams new thrower; Freidrich Flugballer.”
