“Nuffle wasn't playing nice in general, so I threw caution to the wind and went for the unlikely. Taver and Layne pulled this one out, with help from Burg. Solo blitzes and some unlikely dodging, and we not only tied but pulled an unlikely win. Hopefully it won't be the last.”

Hi there sport fans!
This game was hard fought, gritty and at times down right silly!
The teams were seemingly evenly matched, and for the entire first half the Ducks kept the Astrals from scoring.
2nd half started out good for the Ducks as they plowed their way into the opponents half, followed by some nice passing play lead to the first TD of the game and 1-0 Delbstadt Ducks.
But in the end the Astrals catchers were certainly the deciding factor in this game and not because of their skill at catching the ball! Several of the games most important blitzes were carried out by the duo and each time they managed to pull off a miracle it seemed.
A 1-1 game would have reflected the game better but nuffle doesn't like that... oh well there is always next game.
