“I forgot my usual rituals before and during this game. Or maybe I didn't actually forget but I didn't pay any attention to them. Huge mistake! :)

Some coaches assumed the ritual has something to do with elfish wossie dancing but they are actually pretty far from that. The raging monkies in "2001: A Space Odyssey" is the closest thing to elvish manners that I've seen my men do while preparing for the game. ;)

Anyway, we skipped all those (and some other secret) rituals this time and paid the price. We knew we'd lost since turn 2 1st half and the guys were practically waiting for the end whistle. Later even the coach started hoping he had chosen another profession.

This game was obviously THE ONE GAME I feared most this season. From that point of view it wasn't THAT horrible, a disaster though. I wish I could have brought even a small element of resistance to the game but my whole team were a bunch of hollow bodies. Their souls were loose and had vanished like fog. The spirits of my hairy creatures were gone. We forgot our garlic.

It was obvious from the very beginning that there was going to be only one winner in this game. We were lacking the skill and attitude to even score today.

Maybe I'm supersticious but these are vampires anyway! (BTW: I've now played 2 games against vamps and lost 4-0 and 3-0, lol)

We'll head to shaman boot camp as I speak. Let's see what we can bring to the next game.”
