“Today was finally our day. After being bashed around hard the first two games of the season; we managed to field a full team and only suffered 1 CAS through the first 15 turns of the game. Our players responded with an inspired effort as well - knocking the humans around the pitch all game long and stealing the ball. Passing an catching worked as well to allow for some break-away plays.

The first half, we received the ball first and drove quickly for a TD..4 or 5 stuns on the first round just opened massive holes in the defense. However, the game then turned as the human players kept making mistakes on blocks and running through their RRs quickly...then an attempted pass put the ball on the ground. A scuffle followed, but Adam Wainwright managed to grab the ball and was off for his second TD of the half!

Up 2-0 to start the second half, the humans had to press a bit harder...however, another fumble came and this time, it was So Taguchi who managed to grab the ball and throw a perfect pass to Aaron Miles who then broke into the clear and the humans had no chance to reach him and he walked in the endzone. Near the end of the game, another fumble lead to a breakaway, but a trip as crossing into the goal line prevented the score from being even more lopsided.

Overall, it was a fun game. The Norse bashed very well, as far as nearly every block was succesful. However, lots of stuns, but not a single CAS for the 3rd straight game. In addition, apothecary failed for the second straight game. However, the key aspect is that we won and this time did not age on our skills! A wildcard spot is still a dream...but we continue to dream anyway :)”
