“The Granite-less Gypsies faced off another dreaded skaven team, the bane of Dark Water! The new blitzer, Ironside was ready to prove his character. The Gypsies managed to palm the coin and get the kick-off. The skaven placed a perfect kick far away from the hobbled Nightsong. Valentine ran over and got the ball. McDamage quickly broke the ribs of one of the linemen. Valentine went to hand the ball off to Nightsong, but Nightsong dropped it. No sooner had it it the ground, then did a gutter runner swoop in and run the ball in for a TD! 0-1

Nightsong would pick up the kick-off and send it to Valentine. McDamage would take another skaven out of the game with a concussion. Brimstone seriously injured one of the gutter runners. Valentine got knocked down, but the ball bounced to Jonez, who would dodge and weave in for the TD! 1-1

The Gypsies kicked off to the skaven and Ironside would charge the ball thrower, who deftly dumped it off to the other thrower. Brimstone would be crippled by the huge skaven blitzer, but fortunately the doctor would patch him up good as new. Still, it wasn't enough and the skaven would score. 2-1.

The Gypsies pushed hard to tie up the game, but the Skinetos would put up a mighty defense lead by the massive rat ogre, Malcom. Johnny Stallion made a break for the TD, but was knocked down, and the ball ended up on the other side of the field. Malcom would attack Jonez, who deftly side-stepped and picked up the ball! Jonez ran in for the TD, but was surrounded by the rats. In the final seconds of the game, he tried to weave out of the opponents to score, but pulled a muscle and went down hard. He'll be sitting out the next game, nursing a pulled groin.

The MVP went to team captain, Ben Brimstone, who picked up the ability to dog opponents by watching McDamage in action! Healthy and strong, Brimstone hopes to get Dark Water back up to a positive win ratio!
