Things started brightly for the WDDs who needed at least a draw to keep their hopes of survival alive. Both Dammo and Mikey both turned up for the game without medical assistance for the first time this season. While Da Raiders were missing Dronx Blackhide with a virus.

The Woodies recieved first and managed to KO a couple of Orcs. With recievers in position it should have been a simple TD but Van B caught Mikey off guard and he dropped the pill cold. Badz and Co were on hand to try to close in but the Woodies held firm and G.I leafy scored his maiden TD for the Men of Wood. 1-0

With both Ogrck and Grok still unconcious the Woodies had a numerical advantage on defence. That was untill Morj did the unthinkable... Uprooted Jenny B so violently that his central root system was damaged beyond repair. The Medical rased onto the field but all the bandages in the world were not going to put Jenny B back together again.
The Elves stood tall though and managed to tie up the Orc cage right on halfway. Dammo then managed to sneak past Morj (who was still celebrating his big block) and knocked the ball free from Kronkk Gutrot. From here it should have been easy for the Woodies to get the much needed 2nd TD but the Orcs really scrapped and managed to keep the ball in the middle of their Scrum. Obould even managed to lay the boot in to Dammo. With bodies everywhere there was no chance of getting the ball out. In the end the Woodies were lucky not to concede as Surc Gougedeye could not quite get the ball into the waiting arms of Skrag Redfang.

Going into the break 1-0 up and the WDDs were looking good for at least a draw. Short a few players this drive as both Orcs had woken up it was going to take mean effort to defend their lead. Ruckus was sent into the crowd early as the Woodies new a slow offence was on the way. Kronkk had the ball nicely tied up and with Dammo of the field none of the elves had the strength to bring him down. So instead they went about slowing the cage down. Things were going very smoothly as the Woodies danced and dodged away from Da Radiers blockers. With time running out however the mistake came. Hutchy one of the many new faces in the team this season managed to fall flat on his face whilst trying to shove Grok back from the line. This gap was bounced upon by Kronkk who steamrolled over the line just before the siren to level the scores. 1-1

A bloody tough game between 2 teams fighting relegation. Whilst a draw suits Da Raiders more than the Woodies it is all going to come down to the last round.
