Ludovicious scored to take a 1-0 lead, then after some fairly unimpressive play by the Orcs got the ball once more, then held out near the end zone to ensure a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Perhaps after the stall Nuffle felt sorry for the Skruffneks, as with a couple of Amazons being carried off and Zara sent off, they were no longer able to field 11 players.

The Orcs managed to get hold of the ball get down field and score to make it 2-1, but there was little time left on the clock.

In the last turn with the end zone some distance away, the Amazons ganged around the Troll but failed to down him, instead a Blitzer grabbed the ball and handed it to the Goblin, who prepared for launch ... a couple of Chain Push blocks later and the troll was free of the Amazon horde, he quickly ran around to Mulgit and launched him down field to tie the game 2-2 as the final whistle went, sending the game into overtime.

Overtime saw the the Amazons receive, but an early mistake by their Star catcher saw the Orcs collect the ball ... outnumbered and drained of hope after the gut wrenching second TD by the Orcs, they could do little, albeit they tried.

Overtime would see the Orcs running in 3 TD's making the scoreline look somewhat unbalanced, in a game the Wild Mares should have won.

On to the final, but a fear somewhat that I may have exhausted my dice with Nuffle in taking this win.”
