“108000 screaming fans showed up for the gorc-derby between Sweetorcs and Cosmic Cubes
MORLEY'S REVENGE struck on Oearth Niggle who missed the first three drives and the last.
Cosmics' Sun Reloaded suffered from a niggling injury.
First half:
Cosmic Cubes win the toss but we get a blitz. Two out of 3 gfis fail and we dont reach the ball. During their first turn, Cosmic dont get anyone down. On the other hand, in our first turn we badly hurt the Troll Moon III and KOd Plutto II. Then I make a couple of mistakes (one very stupid) which, combined with good offense by Kaenthos allows him to score.
Five turns to tie it before half-time and Kaenthos can only line up 10 players (including the gobbo Star) = looks nice for us. And it goes nice until I almost screw it up. Lucky to tie it.
Two turns left for Cosmic to take the lead again, and they begin nicely by stunning Truffle. This allows them to put 2 players in scoring position. Then Asteroidz fails to pick up the ball with sure hands and we blitz him. This doesnt stop him and he does an amazing pass for the TD. Nice!
Second half:
Both teams get back their KOs and Morley is avoided. Cosmic gets perfect defense and we play very poorly. Then suddenly we make a nice play, some chainpushing gets a player free for a blitz and we can score.
I choose a pls-no-quick-snap-line-up to put some pressure on Cosmic. Foolish of course, since it quite obviously results in a quick snap :). This results in one killed (apo saved - puh) and one MNG. Then however, the Cosmic thrower fumbles the pass and we get a shot. Instead of blocking (which is what orcs to best) we try some dodging which proves to be forcish (an orc word for "very foolish"). Acutally my team players decided to give their coach, me, this nick-name from now on. Still, then we have one of these amazing turns when everything goes our way, Brownie gets the ball and runs like the wind for the TD.
Just two turns left and Cosmic line up just 10 players. The crowd who has had a great time cheer for Cosmic to tie it, even the fans of Sweetorcs who recognize that their team has been far to lucky this game. Cocmic line up 3 orc in scoring position and use a finte - which works! I forget about sf and Cosmic can score a well-deserved TD.
Great game. Really really fun. Two orc-teams not only wanting to bash or build cages but also score. The result was not fair. Kaenthos was lucky a few times, but I was way more lucky and played very foolishly at times. Next time I hope to play better and win by 4-3 :).

Due to this horrible prospect and the fear for his own contract, many a player gave his best ever. They surmounted their fear of the Sweetorcs’ 8 Strength 4+ players, the obligation to play short-handed nearly all the time and snatched an all-time tie. We should also mention the Sweetorcs’ fairness to play without fouls although they got the ref early in the first half.
The game was big fun for team & coach, notwithstanding 3 disconnects and over 2 hours game time. The chat was entertaining throughout the game. Thanks, Lobo, and good luck. We shall meet again and have even more fun.”
