“89000 fans showed up for the game between Sweetorcs and and Squat Rangers. The poor crowd could in part be explained by the pouring rain. This changed to nice on the kick-off.
Handicaps for the Rangers were BAD PRESS, PALMED COIN, DUH, WHERE AM I (on Polly) and DOOM & GLOOM.
No players niggle out but two of the orcs have MNG since before (Truffle and Manjar). No stars.

The dwarfs are not lucky breaking orc armour in T1. In our turn, Ahlgrens takes over Pollys part as head-blitzer for the team (since Polly got Bone Head) and thanks for the confidence by badly hurting Mike Manderson. In T2 we KO Moradin Kel'son, and the dwarfs are ths quite outmanned. Their chance is that we run out of rr due to Doom & Gloom, but we play it safe, try to avoid any risky actions. The dwarfs find a nice hole (well done CanvasBack) and run for it. We need Polly, she fails the bone head roll, and we are forced to use one of our rr. We have the choice of crowding the ball carrier or letting him fall where he stands, It works and the ball goes out to the crowd. The ball lands nicely for us and after some bad luck for the dwarfs we even allow ourself to let black orc Cookie II try to pick it up. It costs us a rr but, well, it is well known how easy it is for black orcs to get spp, and he scores his sixth TD ever in T6. Jasper Johanson fails a gfi twice to pick up the ball on the following kick-off and allows us a chance to score again before half-time, but Murph dodges nicely and blitzes my ball-carrier.

Moradin comes back for second half and thus both teams are full except the previous MNG and Mike who was badly hurt.

Second half and we start of badly rolling two double skulls first turn. No immediate danger since the kick goes far, and dwarfs are not known for the speed. Slowly we advance but the dwarfs come up with nice moves that put pressure on us. Jasper, with ag4 is quite anoying, and also standfirm-Moradon who refuses to go down for a long time. We break free but fail a rerolled handoff to a black orc. We get another chance but after wasting a rr on a threediceblock, llineman-Truffle decides it is better if he scores.

Coach CanvasBack played very nicely (made several nice moves that I didnt count on that made life hard on us orcs). But with this much difference in teamrating (and with handicaps being quite poor) there wasnt much to be done. Especially when you suffer more bad luck too. Hope your dwarfs skill up for the rematch!
