“A tip for every single BB player out there... never discuss how much you dislike BB games where everything goes wrong as you will be be gifted by Nuffle exactly that. I engaged in some light banter about how i love BB but its one failing is those games where nothing works for one player and everything goes perfectly for the other... and surprise surprise i was proven right... and just to add injury to insult a THIRD werewolf killed (only 3 dead in 12 games... thats just normal of course!).
But all this game has done is harden my belief that BB is a great game ever invented but can never truly be enjoyable due to games like this where nothing you do matters because the dice rule all... i know its a whinge and everyone curses their luck but seriously... i love BB but i have to ask what is the point when skill and tactics can do nothing when a dice roll is the difference between a 3-0 loss and a 2-1 victory?!?!
Three times in this game my opponent charged forward and left one or more of my players in scoring position (in 1 or 2 turns) with little defence and all it relied on was a 3+ (with rerolls two of those times) and fails... failed 3 out of 5 gfi's, hardly picked up the ball (something like 4 pick ups out of 10 attempts) and 2 double skulls.
