“InterRatzionale played their debut OBBA friendly match last night against Brother-Fu's Nuln Park Rangers. Sadly, no-one explained to either team that the game was a 'friendly'...

With it being pre-season, neither team decided to bother wearing armour, which kind of made the resulting match bloody as hell! The crowd loved it, and both teams raked in the cash, both taking heavy losses on the way. The Rats without an apothecary suffered nothing but Serious Injuries, Grein the NPR Treeman dishing out two of them before being Badly Hurt himself on a straight block from an unskilled rookie linerat! Matterazi aided by a pair of knuckledusters added a couple of badly hurts to the Elves before scoring to complete an impressive debut.

The match dejenerated early on in the second half, with injuries and KO's decimating NPR's players, and meant the match turned into a scoring race for the Skaven. Regularly three or less Wood Elves took to the line of scrimmage, and still they rolled nothing but a bunch of 1's! A failed catch in turn 16 stopped the sixth score, but the result had been beyond question way before that.

The match prize fund meant that Patrick Viera (who had been niggled by the tree) was upgraded and replaced to Viera-Fu in honour of the drubbing dished out! And Inter now have a healer, thank God! Of the multiple skills earned, one linerat managed to sprout a claw, but felt old before his time (Niggled on aging first skill on a double 1!). With onlt 10 fit players for the season opener his retirment will have to wait a while.
