148000 show up for the first game between Sweetorcs and Proposition 215
Handicaps for Ogres were SMELLING SALTS, IT WASN'T ME (Ice Cream), and DUH, WHERE AM I (Truffle).
Another of our BOBs was MNG.
---
Prop 215 win the toss and it looks hard for us, with two BOBs missing and our Key PLayer Truffle suffering from Bone Head, especially since all seven ogres seem keen to show their best - no one fails the bone head T1 (luckily this does not continue). We play a very offensive defense, too offensive and Kirkape uses this nicely to run through and score T4. We are lucky to mng a goblin instantly on our offensive drive, and getting down 3 ogres. They stun two of our players next turn, stoping our quick TD. Truffle fails his rerolled bonehead and then I play really stupidly; I put our ball carrier in a open position. They KO him, get the ball, fail a handoff to Head Band, but still get it after scatter and he runs away. Boo. We get a blitz on him, but he stands up only to be knocked over again. Last turn we are so so so lucky. Get the ball, hand it off to Bone Head Truffle who fails the pass but rerolled it is caught by Ag4 lineman Loglady (one TZ), she dodges out and ties it!

Second half and we have two KOs (a blitzer and thrower), Ogres lack a mng goblin. Pitch invasion stun three of mine and three of his (polly badly hurts the third Ogre on the LOs - go Polly!). They get even by badly hurting both our troll and our black orc Cookie II T2. When even goblins begin to get down our players we realize it is time for some defensive offense. In a desperate move we give the ball to bone head Truffle. He takes it - puuh. We continue to rely on our amazing strategy - to wait for the turn they get 6 bone heads. This does not seem to happen and goblin Head Band keeps knocking down our lineman Pete Martell. Hindu Crush does a twodice block at Truffle but he stands firm, even against the reroll he doesnt move an inch and holds on to the ball. With two of the goblins busy knocking down our lineman we make a hole through the middle and Truffle runs for it. Head Band is finally KOd, along with another goblin when Polly does her third injury this game. We score in the eight. Two goblins and 6 ogres try a TTM. A bad kick helps them and, but poor Head Band (best player on the field, back from KO to tie the game) is killed! And apo fails :(.
---
Well, Sweetorcs first game vs ogres was a tight very fun one! I played OK I would say, and was lucky at the right moments - like turn 8 first half, or never getting bone head on my ball carrier second half. All in all, the luck was not a fair result which would have been a tie. I had a great time and hope I get a rematch next round! The first ever ogre-game for the Sweetorcs was great!
quote of the game: "was looking forward to the goblin on goblin blitz" /when Head Band died last turn.
