After Real’s last game, the prospect of facing a Claw ridden Chaos team with only one mummy in defence likely wasn’t going to improve the team’s injury problems this season… worse yet, their top clawing beastman had been taking performance enhancing drugs.

The Chaos won the toss and elected to receive, so Mikel González led the zombies and Wights to the line of scrimmage… Mikel was determined to prove that even with one Mummy Real Sociedead was not going to be a walkover and started things off by seriously injuring Atletic’s RSC Chaos Warrior from the offset. Not wanting to be bested by a walking bandaid, Juanito proved that zombies can hit… well, kick just as hard and sent another Chaos Warrior to the Cas Box!

Real also tried to take out the threat of a drugged up Beastman, making two shots to try and fell the beast, but costly failing. The angered Beastman Blitzed rising star Francisco, agile Wight, and delivered him to the CAS box with a career ending niggle but then whilst trying to dodge away fell and KO’d himself out… that’s what happens when you have huge claws!

Real broke down the side, and with the numbers on their side the Beastmen were left like fish out of water and forced into dodging to make vital plays, failing to do so time after time throughout the first half. One of the two remaining Chaos Warriors, a deadly one at that, blitzed the ball carrier but failed to knock him down and left himself very close to the crowd. The teamwork of the Ghouls introduced him to his fans, and they all came away with a souvenir sending the Warrior to the CAS box with a long lasting injury… 1 Chaos Warrior left and Real stalled for the score!

For the remaining moments one of the Zombies met with a horrific broken leg, and hobbled to the CAS box… the six Chaos players that had it made it there were angry.

Second half and the Chaos players number 8 against Real’s 11, which soon became 10 as another Zombie was niggled early on. The Chaos moved their drive to the flank and became swarmed, then they attempted to switch their play but failed to handoff to the Chaos Warrior.

Mikel was quick to capitalise and seriously injured the remaining Warrior, only to have splatter on the ball and then catch the ball! Mikel was on fire, much to Atletic’s dismay.

Mikel later handed off to a speedier Ghoul, and all Atletic could do was foul some zombies as Real expertly stalled to prevent any more players joining a growing injury list.

Haderak’s dodge rolls at the beginning were terrible, with 3 failed attempts, with RRssix in total. And taking 2 Chaos Warriors out in the first turn, then Haderak misclicking and KOing his ST4 Beast really helped.

The failed handoff to the Chaos Warrior in the second half sort of sealed his defeat. Mikel was the star of the game and picked up 4 CAS’ in total, earning himself a CAS-Trick.

The only bad thing in the game was that my regeneration was sadly broken… so the cash we had to invest in a replacement mummy may no longer be available… our AG4 Wight niggled. :(
