“First game of OFL for the Captains, and they were scheduled against Karak Eight Peaks Legion, the goblin underdogs in IBC South. The fans had expected a bloodbath, but as the game went on they would be sorely dissappointed.
The game started well for the Captains, with Black Orcs Crash and Crunch giving the troll a bash on the head, putting them out for the drive. That left room for Quarterback Garak Quickpass, who should not live up to his name until the end of the match. But for now he grabbed the ball, and went into the endzone.
By this time the trolls had come to their senses (or as much senses as troll can have), and the gobbos started another drive down the field. With only a few minutes left on the timer, the Captains resisted fiercely and kept the gobbos from the equalizing touchdown. 1-0 for the Captains at halftime, but no casualties to report.
Second half started with the Legion defence suprising the captains offensive line, making a blitz. Fortunately not much harm was done, but the captains were shaken and they were not able to get the ball into the Legions half of the field until the last minute. Although a lot of force was put into the blocks, the gobbos was too nimble for the large orcs and no blood was drawn. Finally Garak Quickpass managed to sprint into a free position and throw the ball to Skurff Nitty, who was then able to run into the endzone for a touchdown in the last seconds. 2-0 for the Captains, but the offensive line still has to make the first casualty.
Man of the Match, Bolkrac Basher said after the game:
"All respect to da littl' wunz, they ar' dead 'ard!"

Tied for first place in IBC South, the Captains look towards the next game against the high scoring Loren Linguistics.”
