They start on offense but a nice kick for us allows us to get the ball T1, we drop it but recover it again. We have success holding on to it, a lot thanks to our diving tackle lineman Pete Martell who ties up leaping Pug, and our blitzer James Hurley who gets stuck on Fallen Angels tentacles. However, we play rather foolishly rest of half, especially T7 when a failed blitz with Troll gives them a highway to a TD. Luckily, T8, he makes up for his mistake and blitzes down their ball carrier (I do love dodge and break tackle on a Troll).

Second half and game turns bloody. Also, chaos turn into elfs, their stand firm ag4 player does a great 3+3+3+3+3+ or something to get the ball and hand if of, after flying leaping Pug gets it loose. Yet again our Troll saves us, with his blocks, and with some nice scatters we get the ball to our goblin. He is blitzed down. Time is running out. T7 a black orc picks it up but fails the handoff. However, he gets it back on the scatter, and we can run off with a lineman. Turn 8, without any rerolls we manage the handoff and a gfi for the winning TD.

Very entertaining game. My nightmares about Pug will continue. Will never learn how to create a perfect defense against his st5+leap+strip ball. Smashak played really well, but had bad luck at some crucial moments or, rather, I had nice luck at the crucial moments.
