#12 Deep Snapper – Dead (RIP)
“Certainly a fun match, more fun than a normal Orc vs Dwarf match for sure. Losing my troll was a blow, but I had the cash to replace him (was hoping for a 4th reroll however). Was actually happy to see the ST4 longbeard get the ball, figuring if he didn't hand off I could keep him from scoring. Got lucky to stop em in the end, but the shutout streak remains alive at 11. ”

“This was a FUN game! I started off rolling double skullz a few times in the first half and even rolled double-double with a reroll once. The last couple turns though, I managed to make my opponent use his apothecary to save one player and then I killed his Troll! We were at equal strength going into the 2nd half, but he had lost his troll with Guard and I was to receive, down 1-0. The ball landed on my longbeard who was on the line. He has STR4 and guard and I REALLy wanted him up front leading the way, but the security of him holding the ball was nice. Things started going my way with the number of blocks thrown being heavily in my favor and my opponent had only 6 players on the pitch. Then I realized I had gotten carried away with the smashing and it was turn seven!!!!
So I moved a blitzer close enough to score and just to get the ball down there, I chucked it with the Longbeard. It ended up one square away and there was a minor scrum, but I was able to push the orcs away and ready to grab the ball and run in with the go for it roll. I had to burn the reroll on the pick up and i lamented the fact that i had left my runners back in the scrums and out of this play and then I failed the go for it and fell into the endzone, without the ball. :(
It was a fun game and I'd do it again any time! ”
