“With a close to capacity crowd of 71,000 fans in the stadium to witness the first round match of The Great Unseen One’s Regional between the Mummies Boy’z and the Liege Lords of Ludwig.

The Liege Lords kicked and the slow Khemri shuffle started to amble down the field. Liege Lords were putting up a strong screen and towards the end of the first half forced the Mummies Boy’z to pass the ball to score the TD. However bony skeletal hands just don’t have the prowess of nimble elf hands and the ball was fumbled.

During the first half Thunderfist thinking his boots were thunder as well, laid in the boot to a Mummy but the Mummy was tougher than thunder and survived gang foul. Soon enough The Mad Huntsman took the chance to go one better and laid in the boot to the same Mummy but once again the Mummy stayed on the pitch but The Mad Huntsman was banned for the rest of the game.

The second half started with two knock outs not being revived and so the Liege Lords of Ludwig were down to an eight man drive. Coach MachSphere decided he would try his old characteristic move of sending the ball deep towards the end zone and running the players up to hopefully retrieve the ball. Unfortunately the throw attempt was also fumbled (so much for nimble elf fingers) and the Mummies Boy’z swamped the area and secured the ball.

With one last final attempt to steal the game, Ser Mace Tyrell tried to pick the ball up in four tackle zones but was tackled scattering the ball first into the hands of The Kingslayer who couldn’t hold it and in the end a Skeleton called Bones was able to firmly grasp the ball and keep it safe. Did I mention about prowess of bony skeletal hands?

In the end the Mummies Boy’z pulled off a 1 – 0 win over The Liege Lords of Ludwig. Luckily The Liege Lords of Ludwig came away with no injuries.
