“WIL Dragon Conference VIII - Round 2

With a significant TS advantage for the rats, and the amazons lining up a rag tag 11 I thought this game was going to be tough... and I wasn't wrong... especially as on turn 0 those dastardly rat fans threw a rock a promptly SI'd mng my star catcher! By the end of turn 1, and before I'd moved a player I had a further zon KO'd and the ball was well defended and in the grasp of a skuttling gutter.

Getting an early foul in, and the Rat Ogre getting a both down result, and a further foul, the girls tried to get the numbers back in their favour.

However the rats were fast and the zons were soon 0-1 down. But this only enraged the zons as they tore threw skaven armour, to not only equalise but inflict 2xBH and 2xSI in one drive. But with the ref eventually spotting Minx the fouler it ended 1-1.

Second half saw the Rat Ogre stay Ko'd, leaving just 7 rats to line up against 8 zons, with me receiving... but then... disaster.... skaven Blitz! With gutters getting the ball it was 1-2 early in the 2nd half... this was a tough ask!

With the Rat Ogre staying KO'd, 7 rats lined up against 9 zons... but another rock quickly led to a stunned zon, and the ball deep in the zon back field. But by turn 6/5 we gambled and equalised... hoping that numbers and luck would prevail...

...and it did...

With the skaven lineman warp paint the unforgiven failing a rerolled gfi for a blitz, the ball was open... and with 2 turns to score it was a real opportunity which the girls grabbed with both manacured hands!

With no more lucky kick off rolls the girls won 3-2... somehow...

Was a good game... full of talking points!...

Well played Ludo... we both have our work cut out for us in this bashy league of teams!
