“Far too many errors from the Lightnings' coach. First half, they lost the ball while attacking because the player with the ball wasn't properly defended - three players formed a wall across the WEU players' expected approach path, but they Elves were fast enough to simply go around it and got to Imbrine anyway. A tighter cage would have worked much better. Second half, with one turn each left, on they made a double error. First, they failed to leave a player in scoring range should the ball go to ground, second they didn't check which elves were actually in range of their own endzone - only one player was, and he wasn't, properly marked. That slip let the WEU through to score, when they should have had a much harder of it. Sardines' 'party trick' levelled the score at the last gasp, but the Lightnings were still left rueing their errors and wondering what might have been had they played more carefully.”
