Major players feared this match before the start but the handicaps of virus and wasn't me took out 2 skinks and left Cold Heart Warrior short handed but still with a serious strength advantage. A blitz saw the bulk of the Players defence move to one flank to try and sway the numbers even further but it was only temporary and the dodgy little speedsters headed for the other flank with the ball. It took a dodge and double GFI from deserved MVP Charade to stop Eumeces multivirgatus from scoring knocking him clean out. The ball rolled clear with both Eumneces reynoldsi and Eumeces skiltonianus still in scoring range, Masticophis taeniatus taken out of this game and the next the chance was lost when the big guy Lampropelitis alterna got over excited and passed out while taking down his marker. Major player s made the most of the effectively extra turn and the wolves covered off the scoring threats tieing one up while badly hurting the other while Charade secured the ball. The cas were not all one sided and by the end of T3 the teams were reduced from 11v10 to 8v6. Again the lizards put pressur on Charade and the ball but with help from a zombie covering the Saurus the Enraged Charade put Eumeces skiltonianus on the injury list with his big buddy from T2 and these two lent the assists for a full speed hit from a wolf on skiltonianus. Another pretty zero turn for the lizards was replied to with another Sauri in the KO box and the ball being shifted from middle of the MP half to half way up the opponant turf. The ground and numbers advantage lead to the stall until half time backoned but the over confident players reduced their own numbers when Nandorins hurt himself taking on Basiliscus basiliscus and Athel Loren Guardians was spotted making an ineffectual foul. Earthshakers ran in the ball in the dying seconds for a halftime 1-0 lead.

2nd half started 9v6 with the krox still sleeping of his earlier mistake. was immediately reduced to 8v6 and the tides ebbed as if about to turn. Mephioston commented on his surprise at the lack of a death to his players in the first half, he didn't have to wait long for Charade to oblige with Eumeces multivirgatus being saved by the quick acting Apo. Crotalus viridis stripped the ball from Unbemalt II only to be brushed aside and have to watch while the wolf shoved the remaining (freshly saved) skink from the field and into the sympathetic crowd before being knocked to the ground again himself. Undetered the warriors presurised the ball despite the reduced chances at handling with only Sauri left on the pitch but with more numbers and clever postioning Players managed to KO viridis and grab the ball letdown only by a poor pass. Despite a valiant fight back removing Sanguine Savants form the field to the KO compound the remainder of the half was stalled away in safety for a T16 score. Big Guy Lampropelitis alterna managed to take the field for the return KO before final whistle but managed to compound his earlier error by taking himself down on the first action.

Props to Mephiston who never gave up trying at least something and never whined. good luck with your remaining matches and look forward to playing you again.
