With the main tackle/MB wolf niggling prematch things were looking up... however... Nuffle had other ideas..
1st half I received but a perfect defence thwarted me... I decided to pickup with my 4spp Ghoul to try and skill him up... however this was to be my undoing... It wasn't long before some sucky dice later the ball was firmly in the necros hands... 0-1.
Ok I thought... just need to equalise in the 3 or 4 turns left this half... and then of course... another Perfect Defence for Azrahn. Grief... And Azrahn, by his own words couldn't do a thing wrong... It was going to be one of those games!
2nd half and more misery... The Necros scored easily, despite a perfect defence for me... But unfortunately this half saw bloodshed for the necro team. A key Wight fell to a nothing block from his opposite number... and then later a block from a skilless zombie led to a Golem RIPing. Not good for the Necro team's future... and the win brought little comfort.
As for me, no skills, little cash, however, I get to face Sera's elves... and we're looking forward to it!! :D”
