“The first half of this match was, in the words of the coaches, the most boring game ever. Lots of blocks, but not much damage. There were a couple of RIPs for both sides but even those regened. Imhotep had several pass attempts for scores but kept dropping the ball. After the game the press was comparing him to Rex Gross-Ra.

The second half started off poorly for the Mummies but a couple of lucky breaks went their way. The BoneChewing brood ran a sweep to one side of the field while some mummies were stuck on the opposite side of the field. Luckily, the Brood fumbled the ball as they got close to the endzone. The ball ended up in Redjit's hands and he streaked into the endzone on a spectacular play including a dodge and two GFIs without a reroll. Rumors of perfomance enhancing embalming fluid are flying once again.

Djer earned his first Canopic Coffin for a kill and Redjit earned his first Winged Scarab for the game winning TD. Though the fans were screaming for fouls on BoneChewing Brood's werewolves, no Statues of Seth were awarded.
