Another famous victory for the best Elves in Middle Earth

The Deadmen had been doing voodoo before the game and had sapped away some of the polished Imladris training, as well as ensuring that the excellent Guard-Elf missed the game on a roll of 1. Never the less the 11 remaining Elf players lined up knowing that they would need to score whilst they still had mathmatical parity in players.

A mixed first turn saw two skellies leave the field and sadly the Dauntless+Block combo linelf was BH'd on a skull. The Khemri ambled forward to maximise their bodily contact with Middle Earth's Pretiest Elves

From this the Elves managed to score using their Nerves of Steel to ignore the dry-humping of the skellies and Blitz-ras, 1-0 Imladris.

Now the Khemri were angry and a slew of Elves left the pitch as the slow undead marched down the pitch. An Elven wizard was so incensed by this BH'dealing on his breathren that he stood up from the crowd and cast a fireball at the undead cage; the adjacent Mummy survived but the ball was spilt by the Thro-Ra. Due to the Mummy still being their the Elves could not get the ball back and sadly, despite heroic defending, the Undead equalised at Half time. (It could have been stopped had the 2d-blitz by Elrond not been prevented by a double 1 - a push back would have surficed). 1-1

In the second half the 6 remaining Elves lined up and two went of from the first turn. This left 4 remaining Elves which then scooped up the loose ball from teh Undead back-field and stalled out till Turn 13 before scoring 2-1 Imladris.

The Deadmen were unlikely to score in 2 remaining turns and they didn't. The Elves progress into Round 2 thanking Nuffle fore a reversal of fortunes in the second half and also for sparing them any perms in the game.

Close game Keravin, though I must tell everyone that you now have a STR5 Blitzra to accompany your four Mummies. Yes folks Keravin has FIVE STR5 players now
