A brutal encounter that makes my next game an interesting one.

During an initial chaotic melee, the Muradins defense broke apart when ogre Groggoth the Terrible became terribly distracted by something in the crowd and stood there in bewilderment as play went on around him for two turns. The Grimrot players poured through the rather huge ogre-sized gap and smashed down the ball carrier to score.

In a desparate attempt to get on even terms by half time, the Hammerers lost the ball again and only some unusually terrible ball handling from the two ag4 chaos players meant it could not be taken advantage of.

An aggressive second half defense was perhaps too aggressive for The_Emperor whose players could not get near the faster beastmen who burst in behind his team. A good play and touchdown turned out to be just a consolation as a similar fast-paced touchdown completed the victory for Grimrot.

The game had some needle, finishing with a turn 16 crowd surf and a retaliatory foul, but it was my team who suffered the most. So whoever is next up gets a much easier time of things with a chaos warrior and minotaur missing, being lucky to escape with recoverable injuries.

My staff deny trying to bribe the opposing ogre nor waving the kids (the baby goats!) at him from the stands - the kids which, if we were bribing him, which we weren't, were the ones we'd tried to bribe him with. Still it worked, even if nobody can prove it.
