my opponent scored in turn 7 of the first half
i witnessed this great bit of play but as we were setting up I had players missing.
as if there was a momentary disconnect.
i asked my opponent to reload the game which he did, however instead of scoring he tried to stall out the first half to score in his turn 8
we spent 10 mins discussing this and in particular i was trying to explain that by stalling out the td he gained an advantage however all the game saved points were after the stall so we had to play on
I managed to stop the score to make the point that it isn't fair to try to take advantage of a disconnect for an improvement in ones position.
My opponent understood this and we played on at 0-0 even though in the original game he scored in turn 7
After a number of great cas for my opponent it looked like he was going to win the game and so the earlier disconnect wouldn't matter
however some unkind dice meant i was able to get into position to win the game 1-0
with no way for my opponent to get to the ball there was another disconnect.
At this point we decided the fairest outcome of the match was to finish the game 0-0 as on the balance of play my opponent should have scored in the first half
and i should have scored in the second half
All in all a great game and i look forward to playing fringeater again sometime.
For being such a good sport i have added you to my white list
i hope you decide to do the same
Take Care Ken
EDIT my mistake he could have blitzed the ball carrier at the end but it would have meant 2 gfis without a reroll.
We're both in agreement that the game worked out for the best though ”
