“After the humiliating loss to a Skaven team in the last match, the Mummies were hoping to break some High Elf armor in this match. The match started out the way Cursing Mummies hoped as they pounded there way down field inflicting 3 CAS on the way to a turn 7 TD and a 1-0 lead. Unfortunately, that left enough time for Valar Quendi to score a two turn TD and end the half at 1-1.

The second half was pretty much a mirror image of the first but without any additional High Elves being sent off as BH or SI. Valar Quendi took the opening kickoff and scored quickly. Then Cursing Mummies got the ball and marched down field for a turn 14 TD. Though this drive was capped by a nice catch and run by Hetepdief (aided by a skull roll on a block from Valar Quendi)

No awards were handed out after the game and the match money was a paltry $30K. Coach Kharis said after the game, "We'll take the tie to improve our league standing but we've got to put more bodies in the box next game."
