#8 Ulna – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Cursing Mummies kicked off to start the game and had Nuffle Heroes backpedaling most of the first half. Femur got a little over excited and was ejected after his second attempt to foul Chuck Norris. On Nuffle's turn 7 Flash (damn ST4 Runner!) was able to break away from the pack and blitzed his way to a turn 8 TD.
The Mummies got the ball to start the second half and set up a cage to start a slow march toward a TD. However, the Heroes middle defense left an opening for Imhotep to sneak in and toss a pass to a wide open Hetepdief for the tying TD. The two turn TD added fuel to the persistent rumors that Cursing Mummies is actually made up of mummified Elves.
Nuffle Heroes took the kickoff and after a few turns Flash was once again able to break away. A well placed blitz by Imhotep knocked the ball loose as Hetepdief streaked to the endzone for another long pass. Unfortunately it was not meant to be as Imhotep was unable to pick up the ball. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
No awards were handed out this game.
After the game Coach Kharis said, "It's tough to break Dwarf armor but we're really looking forward to our games against the Wood Elves and Amazons."

The 2'nd half started off better for the Hero's as Chuck started bashing some Undead skulls. But just as the Hero's were about to sack the passer he ran right up the middle and threw the ball down the field. The Dwarfs laughed at the silly undead until they saw that Hetepdief was in the endzone with the ball. The sucker had caught it!
With ONLY 6 turns left to win the game the ball was given to flash who started going down the sidelines to win the game, but Imhotep proved he was the player of the match with a 1db POW on Flash which secured the tie for the Khemri.
