Blast of a game !!!

First half was anything but standard, with the hellfish losing the ball two times before scoring in turn 8... only to see the flings tie with a TTM oneturn! The second half wasn't any less interesting, with the flings using the boot at their best before hitting the reserves box. After that, it was the Tree who took good care of the draw, holding the pigskin firmly in his damned St7 branches...

When we finally had burned all rerolls, a lucky doublepow gave us a bit of hope, but AG3 isnt really the right thing for last-minute plays. :D

Great fun!

Game 666 for the hellfish, and finally my grid is complete!!! The Hellfish played against all the races of ranked. Thanks for that ultwe.

#5 PurpleGoo ii – Dead (RIP)
#11 Feydreva – Broken Ribs (MNG)
In their quest to rid fumbbl of all things short and beardy (iow, hunting dorfs for DMU), the Hellfishes came within legal range of our little legs. So, what could we do but offer them a game, in order for them to finally get the opportunity to say that they had met all races across a Bbowl pitch.

So the two teams met, and the coaches had a ball (well, I did, and I believe that Jan enjoyed the game too).

The hummies managed to outrun us in the first half, but they had to give us a chance at a one turner, which was dully scored by Spubbbba, the Amazing Flying Fling. The highlight of the half was a desperate blitz by Phil78, who attacked a Helfish blitzer all on his own, and managed to drag him down, scoring POW/Push on both the dice Jan had to chose the result from. Unfortunately, in his amazement at his own feat, he triped over himself while scrambling to get to the newly-released ball, and Badly Hurt himself.

The second half so the trees taking root early and the flings rounding around their protective roots, but for the humans eventually managed to blitz the ball carrier succesfully. Fortunately for us, Chandelier caught the rebounding ball, and managed to keep the foes at bay for several turns, using his strength to good effect. Meanwhile, the coaches had a bit of an argument over which race produced the best foulers. We unashamedly claim that we won this little spat ;-) (so what if Jan disagree... I am the one writing this report).

When the Hellfishes finally managed to get one of their players to hit the burly ball carrier and release the ball, all of the team's rerolls had been spent. Therefore, the fans gasped in despair when a last-turn handoff, for the victory, was fumbled and Daniele "Toso" Canzoneri could only stare dejectedly at the ball, which was now rolling gently at his feet. On that note, the ref blew his whistle, and the match ended on a hard fought draw.

thx for the game, Jan, and for the opportunity to play one of the legendary teams of Fumbbl.
