Handicap in oryx's favour - Extra Training

After bemoaning oryx in chat for not turning up at 10pm UK time as agreed, just as I announced that I was giving up and had sent him a snotty "very disappointed" pm, he turns up! Great... on with the game...

And the 1st half couldn't have started much better... I received... and the ball scattered and was caught by the Ogre Graham Taylor on the los. Gradually we made our way to the end zone, but by turn 5 the lizards were regrouping, despite having to use their apoth on a niggled Saurus and losing a Krox -ma mng by a well placed boot.

Graham Taylor stood ready to score in turn 6, just one square from the end zone, waving at the crowd who were cheering him at the prospect of scoring.... so of course he Bone Headed... and then did it twice more, much to the annoyance of his team mates and the coach. 0-0. This did muffle the whining briefly from oryx thankfully who up until then had been looking less positively on the match after my armour rolls and the ref spotting him.

2nd half the lizards received, with both KO's coming back, but my KO'd CW stayed out for the rest of the game. The lizards picked up the ball first time... dang... getting near an MA8 skink with all that Str4 blocking the way to it was going to be tough... and indeed it was! No amount of desperate play helped... and the lizards scored 0-1.

With just enough time for a completion from Roger Joslyn for a skill up, the game was over... and oryx was quite rightly feeling rather ashamed for his earlier torrent of disappointment. It wasn't all bad for me... Two skilled up beastmen, and enough cash for a 4th Chaos Warrior. I just have to make up with nuffle for the rest of the season to see if I can rescue some points!
