“SWL Season XXVII - Gone's Slipper Conference League XXVII - Round 3
Mid Life Crisis scored extremely quickly, giving us plenty of time to even the numbers on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to keep numbers even on the pitch, and were down to just 7 players by the end of the drive, and with just one of the KOs coming back, we were outnumbered right from the start of the second half.
Half time score: 1-1
We too a big risk at the start of the second half, and failed to secure the ball. As a result, the scoreline quickly changed to 1-2, and we were fighting an uphill battle with a lack of numbers on the pitch. There were certianly some close calls, but in the end, Swinger pulled through with a couple of crucial blitzes, and was able to prevent a second equaliser.
Final score: 1-2

4 SI's is the tale of the tape...2 early were enough to turn the numbers and the rest was just snuffing them out. Was still a tough puzzle indeed! Postion play was awesome form the "orcs" and kept us on our toes. But for a dropped catch by them, and a huge dodge/blitz/stun play late it could easily have been a draw!
