An 8 man strong (or rather weak) dark elf team looked like a nice appetizer for the Ogreville Food Patrol, but as I pointed out to Asmo before the match, an ogre team on a bad day can lose to just about everything. And boy was this a bad day.

OGP missed just about everything that could be missed in the first 3/4 of the match. Lousy blocks (I managed to inflict 1 KO from blocks and 1 from fouls during the entire match), boneheads on pretty much every move that was important and opponents that sent my goblins out injured on just about every block they made.

Fortunately Asmo is a friendly and sympathising coach, which together with the general stupidness of ogres made the match enjoyable. And in the last quarter even Nuffle seemed to feel bad for me and allowed Trukk to run in a comfort TD in turn 8.

Thanks for the match, Asmo. You got a dream recovery match there, hehe. Hope to play you again in the future!

Aye, my 8 boys were justifiably nervous before this match, and for the first quarter of the game most of my fears were justified as the ogres rumbled up the pitch with a scary efficiency. But it was then that coach Pirogs game plan was forgotten by the big dumb beasts, and major plays were messed up, giving the Chillago Bears a window of opportunity that they pounced on.

From then on, The Darkies had a real purple patch, gobbos falling left right center, whilst ogres were being stupid and darkies hanging in well scoring late in the first half. a second half quick td followed and the game was won. A nice drive for a consolation td the least the ogres deserved.

Was a fun game with Pirog taking his bad rolls in good humour, happy to play again any day.
