“As often is the case with ogres this match meant a lot of ups and downs in success. Despite being cut short by Morley's Revenge so that the Ogreville Food Patrol could only field 7 players vs the opponents 10 the entire first half was a lucky endevour where 2 early cas, a couple of KO's and sharp and attentive ogres made sure that Sneeko could stall his way to a last turn TD.
In the second half, when the ogres were on defense, the situation was completly reversed. With 6 vs 8 the ogres boneheaded out so much that the Wither and Die players could pretty much calmly walk right through their defenses.
Fortunately the presence of the ogres meant that they didn't stall, which gave the OFP another offensive drive. After a weak start they found the play from the first half and a missed GFI opened up for Maki Mukdwella to run through and score the winning TD.
“NO problem Pirog. You wrapped it up very nicely. I should have tryed stalling maybe a little bit as I had the upper hand in players, but Emperor Han got greedy and wanted his TD and wanted it right then.
Much was learned and hopefully W&D will get their act together and put a string of luck together.”
