We receive and leave one side undefended with all the dwarves on the LOS.. they roll up a blitz AND the kick is going to land near them on that side! They swarm all their spare players over, catching the ball with their agi 4 beastman, but not before a double trip on a GFI sees a rookie beast BH himself!
They run the ball backwards behind their line and then knock over our DP (who was trying to foul their +str claw beasty but could only stun him) - their own DP runs up and KILLs our one!! Our apo is dispatched to save the hobgobbo, and in our turn he dodges back and breaks the neck of a chaos warrior! Their apo saves him so now all injuries are final!
They push through well with the +AGI beasty on the ball and we're fighting hard to try and cover him, but we just can't do it and he scores on their 4th turn. We gather the ball at one side and start looking for a way through- eventually finding it when a beastman blitz rolls double skulls and they are out of rerolls! This lets us run through to safety and we score on our last turn of the half.
In their final turn they BH a block-hobgob and then DP foul with just one assist and KILL a rookie blocker.. curses!
They set up 9 vs our 11 for the second half- lets get some revenge! They push through the middle out of a bit of a bind as we have them well surrounded with our extra players, but we're able to engineer a blitz, taking down the ball carrier. At this point we have sent a few more beastmen to their KO box and we are able to grab the ball and move away from the brawl. Our DP has now fouled 4 times in a row and the ref is clearly not paying attention! They keep trying to blitz through with a CW but can't quite reach our ballcarrier- but we put an end to that when a dwarf KILLS him with a blitz! Our DP is also then sent off as he BH's another CW.
There's just their troll and a lone CW left on the pitch and we chase them about a bit until turn 8 when we stroll in the winning touchdown!
