“One of my wardancer niggled out of this contest, and during the opening possession the other was BHed. Then my leaping catcher was KOed. And some other people got knocked out, too. It was a good start.

With all leapers gone and no numbers to speak of, the elves conceeded the fact that Chaos was going to spend the first half just waiting to score. Claws and MB abounded, so it was decided that rather than fling our tiny fragile souls against the cage we'd try and kill some stragglers elsewhere, hoping for at least numerical parity in the second half. A CW was SIed and Apoed, so we fouled him to the BH box. Another player later was SIed, but unfortunately all of the mutated monsters lived. Oh, well.

We went into the second half way outnumbered, but our hearts were huge and we never gave up. With only one tackler left on the field, we were able to survive some situations we might not have otherwise.

EldaNi should have won this game as he outplayed me, but luck was on my side at the end and I was able to pull out the miracle draw. Even more miraculous was the lack of long-term injuries.”
