“Our recently "khemri'd" gobbos face Treborius' no-reroll orcs. They have 15 players vs just 13 available to us and we sadly have no chainsaw having had to spend all our money on new players. On the plus side they have only one tackler (target #1) and no DPs.

We receive and start pushing forwards while putting our DP boots to good use as much as possible. We get close to scoring a couple of times while even managing to KO their troll and a blitzer before our first goblin is removed. They crowd around the ball and we engineer a couple decent chances at it that are foiled by our lack of rerolls and the half ends 0-0, but not before a rookie lineman fouls our prone AGI4 block DP gobbo... KILLING him!! Was that an axe we just saw?! The ref immediately sends off the errant orc and our apo is fortunately able to use MagiGlue to re-attach little Gimp's head in time.

We defend quite well in the 2nd half, managing to get a 1d block against their thrower with our block-gobbo at one point, seriously injuring him! We then try to get at the ball, holding it for a brief turn. But the orcs have KO'd one gobbo, ejected another and KILLED a further two so we are really down on players now. When one of our block-trolls rolls double skulls on a blitz, knocking himself out we're really in trouble! But a superb series of stunty dodges lets us get a 2d blitz on their blitzer with the ball, badly hurting him! They are no longer able to get at the ball but we don't hold it for long and the game ends 0-0!

A good, hard-fought game treborious and lots of fun :) Shame our 3 cas suffered were all deaths, particularly McLovin who was #2 fouler for all blackbox goblins until now!
