A game that should have been greatly favoring us turned into a nailbiter. All three trees rooted themselves and were non-factors in the first half. A series of POWs by the nurgling took out half of our fairies and the nurglings had the ball and were going in for the defensive score...Ian Johnson raced back for the strip on the nurgling, but then was fouled for a badly hurt in return. The half ended 0-0. Master Fart (beast) was killed, but otherwise we started the second half down in numbers...but it was Adam Oynx shaking off the effects of a bit too much wine to steal the ball and hand it off for the 1-0 score and then all the nurgling decided the KO box was a good place to stay and with numbers (8 to 5 or something like that) and some poor dice by the nurglings we stole the ball again for the 2-0 win. Three CAS including both SI were caused by failed dodges...we apothed the SI caused by the nurglings. A self-destructive game, but in the second half, we got some plays going and it was the difference.”
