The mystery van rolled into town and from it stumbled the normal crew. Fred, Daph, Velma, Shaggy, Scoob and Scrappy. Behind them rolled the meat wagon with the zombies driven by the Phantom Diver.
Rolling out onto the pitch saw Nuffle smile brightly on Mystery Inc. Fred grabbed a ball coughed up by a Saurus and hurried down the field for the first score. As they lined up to kick, Zombie gave the super secret signal, and the southern half of the field was blitzed as if there was it was a $5 foot long sale at Subway. Shaggy occupied one saurus while Scrappy put a skink in the injury box, and somehow the ball bounced into Thara's hands. Great hands for a zombie. Once again, they rushed down the field, and Velma was able to score right before half.
Yet, none of this was the highlight of the half. In the closing moments, Wight Biter went after the Wight known as the Phantom Diver. Wouldn't you know it, the diver tried to unmask the saurus who was in a blatantly fake costume, but it seems a zipper must have been stuck as his head came right off with the costume. Happily, the necromancer was handy and was able to keep him kicking, but he will have a permanent kink in his neck.
With the opening of the second half, Coach Fangbanger decided to return the favor and called for an all out bliz. Mystery Inc rallied around the ball, and may have gotten away with the ball, but the no good skink Kamacuras slipped in scooped up the ball and scored. Thara was so depressed by the situation that she tore the jersy from Rodan to dry her tears and the little skink's arms came with the shirt. Shrug... What can you do?
After consoling the pathetic zombie, Daphne went to work and scored the TD to ice the match. All in all, a good day for the kids.

Reflecting upon the match, Kondor shook hands with Coach Fangbanger. Kondor had been away from the game for a while and it was great to get back into coaching. A match against a wonderful fella like Fang was just the way to go.
